Manufactured in 1888. The barrel has the one line Hartford address, "41 CAL" is stamped on the left side of the trigger guard and the left side of the frame has the three line, three patent dates marking. Matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard and back strap with the assembly number "115" on the loading gate. The rear face of the cylinder is stamped with a small letter "R" and a small letter "D" is stamped in the hammer well of the frame. Standard blade and frame notch sights, blue finish with casehardened hammer and frame. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips featuring the Rampant Colt at the top and Federal Eagle on the bottom.

Condition: Fine. Overall the revolver has 30% original blue with the balance a mottled brown-gray patina with the barrel and ejector rod housing retaining heavy amounts of original blue finish in and around the protected areas. The grip straps and cylinder retain traces of original blue finish in the protected areas and the frame also retains strong traces of original case colors in the protected areas. The grips are very fine with a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. 41 long Colt Caliber Colt Single Action Armies very rarely were in the 7 1/2 inch barrel length.
