The solid barrel rib is marked "IMPORTED BY ALEXANDER McCOMAS NO. 51 S. CALVERT ST BALTIMORE", with Damascus barrels. The lock plates are engraved with bird dog scenes with light scrollwork behind the scroll engraved hammers. The upper tang features a dog's head, a woman on horseback featured on the trigger guard, and a stag on the buttplate tang, all with light scrollwork. The half-length straight grip stock has a checkered wrist and a smooth forearm.

Condition: Fine. The barrels have a mottled brown patina with 60% of the Damascus pattern remaining. The front sight is missing. The lock plates retain traces of original case colors with the balance a smooth brown patina. The trigger guard retains scattered traces of original blue finish with the balance a smooth dark patina. The stock is also fine with numerous minor dings with a minor gouge on the underside of the buttstock. The checkering is crisp.
