Very fine. The barrel and magazine assembly retain approximately 95% original thinning, blue finish with extremely minor high edge wear. The magazine retains approximately 95% original finish with some wear on the underside and a patch of smooth brown at the muzzle end. The receiver retains approximately 90% original finish with high edge wear and smooth areas of smooth gray patina. The lever retains approximately 25% original case colors with the balance having a smooth gray patina. The buttplate has a cleaned smooth gray patina with a small amount of light pitting on the heel. The wood is excellent with almost all of the original finish (slightly dulled on the bottom rear) and overall a few scattered minor dings and dents. The markings remain crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
