Fine Antique Auction Session 1

Auction Details

Parker-Braden Auctions is proud to have been selected to offer at unreserved public auction the million dollar inventory of Lubbock, Texas’ most prestigious antique store. Due to retirement, Sammy Foster, owner and proprietor of Antiques Lubbock, has decided to liquidate his entire inventory and fixtures. Along with Mr. Foster’s inventory, we will be selling the glass factory sample line and antique collection of renowned author and glass expert W.C. “Red” Roetteis of Kentucky. Mr Roetteis was a factory representative and salesman for L.G. Wright Glass Company before his retirement in the 1960’s. His product sample line has been carefully packed away since that time along with some wonderful Kentucky primitives. Also included will be one of the finest Hummel Collections in North America (including the large Nativity Set with original crèche) from the estate of Don Marshall of Albuquerque, N.M. These three fine groupings will be combined in a series of two, two day auction sessions to take place Oct. 5th & 6th, and Nov. 2nd & 3rd. Both of these auctions will be featured live on Ebay beginning at 2:00 P.M. EDT-11:00 A.M. PDT with Saturday’s Session and 12:00 EDT-9:00 A.M. PDT with Sunday’s session. Each session will feature approximately 500 choice lots.

Featured in the Oct. 5th & 6th session will be fine furnishings of all types, spool cabinets, oak office furnishings, cranberry and Vaseline glass, Watt pottery, Fiesta and Bauer dinnerware, Native American points and artifacts, butter molds and primitive items, elegant lamps, fancy quilts and linens, diamond jewelry, costume jewelry, clocks, prints paintings, oriental rugs, sterling silver, plus much more.
