Finely cast gilt bronze figure of Amitayus; seated in Lalitasana on lotus pedestal, hands held in vitarka mudra; face sensitively modeled in a joyful expression with downcast eyes beneath arched brows; the hair swept back and neatly arranged into a high usnisa topknot behind an elaborate five-leaf crown, wearing a gossamer shawl over the broad shoulders and revealing a bare torso festooned with princely ornaments of the sambhogakya; dhoti incised with lotus scroll at the hem; double vajra mark on base, 18th/19th Century; H: 16 cm, L: 11 cm, W: 7 cm, 1200 grams
