1p, 8" x 10", 3 Oct. 1864. Claim for 160 acres of land to run one-quarter mile in all directions from the entrance to "Overland Park Station" in Larimer County, Colorado Territory. Filed by George K. Otis, General Superintendent and Attorney for Ben Holladay, Proprietor of the Overland Stage Company. Mr. Otis worked for Holladay from 1861 as financial agent, auditor, purchaser of supplies and general superintendent. Holladay bought Butterfield Stage Lines in 1866 and six months later sold it to Wells, Fargo & Co. Otis went with the company and became secretary for W.F.
