Note:
"Galtee More" was the famous stallion, bred in Co. Limerick by John Gubbins, and trained by Sam Darling The horse won the Triple Crown of the Derby, the St.Leger, and the two thousand guineas. C. Wood is the jockey depicted in this scene.
