<B>Fillmore East Program Group (Bill Graham, 1969-70)</B></I> Jimi Hendrix and the Band of Gypsys recorded their one and only album at the Fillmore East, during two nights of stunning shows that rocked in the new year of 1970. The program to that event, also featuring a subsequent Grateful Dead/Lighthouse/Cold Blood gig the following two nights, is included in this group of three. A May 16-17, 1969 Who concert, with guests Sweetwater and It's a Beautiful Day, are the subject of the second program, while Jefferson Airplane, Buddy Guy and Junior Wells, and the Incredible String Band are featured in the third program, from November 25-29, 1970. Vintage ads fill most of the pages, and they're a real hoot to look at today.
