<B>Fifteenth and Sixteenth Century English Land Deeds.</B></I> First of two items is one page, 14.5" x 5", on vellum, dated 1477. In Latin this deed mentions Galfrid Skinner de Bendlyng and Thomas Crosse de Bendlyng. Good condition with general toning, bottom 1" folded up, gutter tab present, lacking seal. The second item is one page with extensive docketing on verso, 14.5" x 9.5", on vellum, February 28, 1599, a release in Latin. Michaell Fildinge to Richard Cheseldyne of Yanton, Buckinghamshire. Names of witnesses signing include James Harvey, Anthony Sawbridge, Basil Sawbridge, and Ishmale Blosell. Near very fine condition, bottom 1.25" folded up, gutter tab present, boar seal present but damaged; very bright vellum and bold, dark writing. <I>From the Henry E. Luhrs Collection.</B></I>
