Fifteen Million Years Old Large Megalodon Sharks Tooth
Fifteen Million Years Old, Large 3.5 Inch Long, Megalodon Sharks Tooth, Choice Very Fine.
The largest shark that ever lived was Carcharodon Megalodon. It was more than 50 feet long and weighed more than eight times more than the largest Great White. Even though its teeth were shaped like a Great White, it actually was a distant cousin of the Mako shark. With its huge size, it would have eaten anything it came across, including whales! This superior tooth is large at 3.5”, measured on the diagonal. It has brown, black and gray colorations with a little orange, is very solid with a nice rounded tip and some serrations along the edges. There are some very minor scuffs / dings. This from Megalodon Shark Tooth is said to have come from discovery in South Carolina.
