Winning bidder is to notify SVAC of preferred method of transfer of property. Options are local pick-up/drop-off or shipping. Shipping is only permitted to the USA and Canada.
All packing and shipping arrangements will be made by SVAC and an estimate provided to buyer. Shipping & Handling Fees are invoiced separately from purchased items. Items will be held until all payment is received. Please allow 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS for shipping to occur.
PLEASE NOTE - INSURANCE WILL BE QUOTED AND INCLUDED IN THE COST OF SHIPPING AND HANDLING UNLESS EXPRESSLY REJECTED BY THE BIDDER IN WHICH CASE THE BIDDER ASSUMES ALL RISK OF LOSS OR DAMAGE IN SHIPMENT.
Payment Details:
The purchase price shall be the sum of the hammer price plus a buyer’s premium of 15%. Online bidders are subject to an additional auction fee of 3% for a total of 18% of the hammer price.
Credit card information is required to bid on this auction. SVAC will process invoices and charge the credit card on file. This information is held with a 3rd party processor and SVAC receives no personal information. Charges will be incurred within 24 hours of the end of auction.
All sales are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds on art pieces.

1. A valid Credit Card is required to for bidding approval. Payment options are: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
2. By registering to bin, you are opting into our mailing list.
3. Bid numbers are nontransferable. Registered bidders will be responsible for paying for all art pieces purchased with their registered bid number.
4. Bidders need not be present to participate in the Saturday Live Auction. Absentee, Online and Telephone bidding are allowed for this sale.
5. All art pieces are offered “as is.”
6. The Spokane Valley Arts Council is an agent for the owner of the art pieces. The SVAC assumes no risk, liability, or responsibility for the authenticity, or the authorship of any art piece identified in the catalogue.
7. The SVAC reserves the right to withdraw any art piece at any time before the sale.
8. The SVAC reserves the right to reject a bid.
9. Some art pieces may be offered with a “reserve,” which is a minimum price below which the art piece will not be sold.
10. Unless announced otherwise by the auctioneer, all bids are per lot as numbered in the catalogue.
11. In the event of any dispute between bidders, or in the event of doubt as to the validity of any bid, the auctioneer shall have the final discretion to determine the successful bidder, cancel the sale, or reopen and resell the art piece in dispute.
12. If any dispute arises after the sale, the SVAC’s sale record shall be the final and conclusive record of the sale.
13. Upon acknowledgment of the winning bidder by the auctioneer, title to the art piece shall pass to the bidder. The sale is complete when the auctioneer announces the sale by the fall of the hammer or other customary manner. The auctioneer retains all authority and discretion allowed by law.
14. The bidder assumes full responsibility for items at the fall of the hammer (or expiration of time in an online auction). A bid entered by mistake on the part of a bidder is NOT grounds for a cancellation of the bid. Each bidder is responsible for his or her own account and bids. By allowing access to another who enters a bid without your knowledge will NOT be grounds for a rescission of the bid(s). Therefore, any bid made on your account will bind you to the bid in accordance with these terms. If an entity places a bid on a lot, then the person executing such bid on behalf of the entity hereby agrees to personally guarantee payment for any successful bid.
