(Walt Disney Studios, c. 1935) Scarce original concept layout drawing attributed Disney illustrator Ferdinand Horvath for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, showing the Wicked Witch holding a basket of apples amidst spooky trees in the dark forest. Accomplished in graphite on an off-white 11.75 x 9.75 sheet of animation paper, marked "F1-3A-SC19" in the lower border. Handsomely mounted, matted, and framed to an overall size of 22 x 20. In fine condition. Ferdinand Horvath worked as an inspirational sketch artist at the Disney studio from 1933 to 1937, and is perhaps best remembered for his uncredited work for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. A great, early atmosphere concept drawing from the Disney studio.
