Pseudonym of Gaspard-Felix Tournachon (1820–1910), a French photographer, caricaturist, journalist, novelist, and balloonist. ALS in French, signed “Nadar,” one page, 5.25 x 8.25, personal letterhead, circa 1860s. Letter in French to “Camille.” In full (translated): “Urgently need to see you. Come as quickly as you can.” In very good condition, with intersecting folds, overall creases, and a few spots of soiling. Accompanied by an unsigned original carte-de-visite portrait by his studio.
