Manufactured in Belgium, in 1955. Double ivory bead sights on the matte vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked full/improved modified with ejectors. Blue barrels with standard markings, with a satin gray finish on the remaining parts. The action is oak leaf engraved with a wooded scene of two hunting dogs and pheasants on the right side, a wooded scene of a mother fox bringing her two kits a pheasant, two pigeons on the bottom and two pheasants in the wooded scene on the trigger guard. Both lower rear sides of the receiver are signed "FUNKEN". The same engraving pattern extends to the forearm latch assembly and knuckle and break lever. Tang mounted safety/selector with gold "O", "U", and "S", gold washed single trigger and mounted with extra fancy, high gloss, finely checkered forearm and flat knob pistol grip stock with a vented Pachmayr White Line recoil pad. Length of pull: 14 inches. Complete with a Browning hard takedown case.

Condition: Very fine as factory refinished. The barrels retain 98% blue finish with an area on the upper left side barrel which shows some wear from normal usage. The remaining parts retain 98% satin gray finish, with a "speckling" of finish on the inside of the trigger guard on the lower tang. The wood is also very fine, with some overall scattered minor handling marks and crazing around the upper tang, with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent.
