<B>Felix Faure, President of France, Document Signed,</B></I> four integral pages written on pages one and two, 8.75" x 13.5", Paris, January 28, 1895, in French. Holes on the left edge where it was removed from a binding, toning, and folds, else very good. Sold with a postal card featuring Faure. The document is addressed to the president of the Republic of Honduras announcing Faure's election as president of the Republic of France. The latter days of Faure's presidency were embittered by the Dreyfus Affair, which he was determined to regard as <I>chose jugee</B></I> (adjudicated with no further appeal).
