A fantastic find! An Imperial Furniture Company federal style candle stand or wine table.

Imperial Furniture Company was one of the large early 20th century furniture companies. Like many of the companies of that day, Imperial Furinture was (is) constructed very well.

Imperial Furniture Company started in 1903 and was sold to another furniture company in 1954. They primarily made dining and occasional tables. Imperial lays claim to having "invented" the coffee table in the 1920's.

Features:

- Federal Styling

- Tripod Base with Fluted or Splayed Legs

- Urn Carved Pedestal

- Legs ending with Brass Capped Claw Feet

- Piecrust Top that is stationary not tilt-top

- Rich Red Mahogany Color

Condition: Table is in very sturdy condition. There are no scratches, gouges or knicks. There is some light staining on the top. Please see photos. But there are home remedies out there (mayonaise being one) that can help the problem areas. I will leave that up to the discretion of the next owner. I have used the table in my formal living room for years as is because it is simply stunning and beautiful without any help.
