<B>Faye Dunaway's Screen-Worn Jacket from <I>Chinatown</B></I>.</B></I> About as <I>noir</B></I> as you can get, <I>Chinatown</B></I> exposed viewing audiences to one of the most shocking endings in film history (a sister-daughter relationship beyond compare!). Nominated for 11 Oscars, the film is considered a masterpiece; Jack Nicholson's one-liners and Faye Dunaway's haunting performance saw to that. Dunaway's character, Evelyn Mulray, was all '30s glamour with a wardrobe to match. In the coroner's office sequence of <I>Chinatown</B></I> she is seen sporting this tan linen weave jacket with taupe trim. A Western Costume tag along the inner lining lists the production and Dunaway's name. A rare artifact from the legendary film, with photographic documentation: an image of Dunaway wearing the jacket in the film is included in lot.
