Jazz musician (1904–1943) whose inimitable stride piano style made him one of the greatest players ever. As a songwriter, Waller produced such standards as “Ain’t Misbehavin’” and “Honeysuckle Rose.” Vintage matte-finish 7.25 x 9.25 photo, signed and inscribed in green fountain pen “To Louis L. Schlosser, With best wishes from Thomas ‘Fats’ Waller.” In fine condition, with trimmed edges and scattered light silvering. Reverse has several collector’s notations and an affixed folded newspaper article. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
