Fargo (2014-) - Oliver Platt Money Stash Broken Ice Scrapper.
Original season 1 broken ice scrapper (from digging) used in the production of the black comedy crime drama anthology television series 'Fargo' (2014-), where various chronicles of deception, intrigue and murder in and around frozen Minnesota. Yet all of these tales mysteriously lead back one way or another to Fargo, North Dakota.
In the original movie the briefcase containing $920,000 was buried by Carl Showalter. Carl, a hitman in the movie, buries the money after discovering it's a larger ransom than he expected. The briefcase is then later found by Stavros Milos (Oliver Platt) in the TV series, who mistakenly believes it to be a sign from God. This is the only link from the 2-time Oscar winning movie to the TV show.
The show is inspired by the eponymous 1996 film written and directed by the Coen brothers, who are credited as executive producers on the series alongside Hawley.
