Neil Armstrong autograph letter signed thank-you note written to commemorate the completion of the successful Apollo 11 mission. Inside a card, Armstrong writes in black ink, ''Dear Neal -- Thanks for your note. -- Best wishes for a great 1970 -- Neil Armstrong''. Front of card depicts an Apollo 11 insignia, printed signatures of Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins and Armstrong, and type reading in part: ''...We are grateful and proud to have participated in the achievement of our national goal of a successful lunar landing...'' Card measures 5.5'' x 4.25'' and includes original NASA envelope with recipient's address written in Armstrong's hand. Near fine.
