Fantastic Dec. 6, 1773 “Massachusetts Gazette and Boston Post Boy...” Newspaper With “TEAPARTY” Importance!
December 6, 1773-Dated Colonial Pre Boston “Teaparty” and Revolutionary War, Newspaper titled, “Massachusetts Gazette and Boston Post Boy Advertiser,“ No. 850, being filled with historic “Tea” news, Very Fine.
This extremely historic and rare, December 6th, 1773 issue of the “Massachusetts Gazette and Boston Post Boy Advertiser” is simply filled with the Official Resolves of the Boston Selectmen on rejecting the Tea that has just landed at Boston Harbor. The entire front page is covered with the Tea news, including a letter from Royal Governor Thomas Hutchinson about the Tea, and includes a response to him from the key important Boston dignitaries.

That Report continues, covering one half of page two, and is Signed in Print, “John Hancock,” “Samuel Adams,” etc.! It also has an angry letter from the Boston folk about threatening a Civil War if the hated Tea is to be landed.

Being printed in Boston, this paper takes on extra special meaning and is of the utmost historic content and contemporary context of the day, reporting immediately as it was happening. This paper is absolutely awesome!
