For kids in the late 1950s-early 1960s who had "graduated" from comic books, this, the first Warren monster-movie magazine, was something of a "holy grail." That's publisher Jim Warren in the Frankenstein mask on the cover, alongside Marion Moore. Longtime superfan Forrest Ackerman supplied the tongue-in-cheek text, and became a star in his own right. Listed in Jerry Weist's 2000 <B>Comic Art Price Guide </B></I>in FN - $550; in NM - $1,500.
