Lot of forty-three. 1) There are two Newland’s Project documents. The Newland’s project breathed life into the agriculture of the area. One to the Carson-Tahoe District and one to the U. S. Reclamation Service. 2) 1909 Town of Fallon License (to operate a business) for $10.00 to W. W. Williams. 3) Billheads include Churchill County Telephone and Telegraph, Churchill County Bank, Fallon Hardware, Wonder Lumber Company, Verdi Lumber Company, Tonopah Lumber Company. Fallon was the hub o many major mining camps at this time and lumber was a precious commodity, brought in from forests in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, hence the number of lumber companies in the desert. 4) Receipts etc. include Churchill County Telephone and Telegraph Company, Grey, Reid, & Wright, City of Fallon Light and Water, S. W. Collins Hardware Store (among the first buildings to go in the great Rawhide fire was Collins's hardware store, which contained two tons of dynamite that exploded with a terrific report, hurling burning planks and boards a great distance, setting fire to numerous buildings simultaneously), A. C. Burton., A. C. Burton, Kerr & Monsell, Churchill County Bank unused check, etc.
