Falling Skies Season 4 Espheni Overlord Scorch (Mark Gibbon) Animatronic Head Movie Props
Season 4, Episodes 2, 3 & 12 - This animatronic full-sized head of the Overlord named "Scorch" (Mark Gibbon) brings a whole new meaning to Espheni disdain, as he glowers at the relentlessly heroic humanoid Tom Mason (Noah Wyle). Before his demise, Scorch was regularly seen narrowing his blue eyes and contorting his deep-rooted facial ridges into an ugly rage just at the mention of the history professor with more lives than those strange earthbound cats. Scorch first appears, as he monitors the 2nd Mass prisoners from his Espheni dirigible-style airship floating above an Espheni prison colloquially known as the "Espheni Ghetto." Season 4, Episode 2 (2:19 minutes) - In his best close-up, Scorch seethes with anger when Tom reveals himself as the "Ghost" vigilante from the Espheni Ghetto. Season 4, Episode 2 (29:34 minutes) - Aboard his spaceship, Scorch reveals to Tom that he's mass-mutating entire civilizations across the galaxies in his mission to prepare the Esphenis for the Great Battle against a force far greater than Tom's mind can comprehend. Season 4, Episode 3 (25:09 minutes) - At their next meeting, Scorch comprehends the earthling notion of "vendetta" after Tom blowtorches his face (hence, the nickname "Scorch"). Season 4, Episode 12 (18:40 & 21:01 minutes) - Scorch's vendetta culminates in his threat to scorch Tom's daughter, Lexi (Scarlett Byrne), aboard an Espheni Beamer Airship while Tom watches. It also culminates in Scorch's demise at the end of Tom's poisoned syringe. The nearly 3-foot high head of Espheni Overlord "Scorch" is presented here in his pre-blowtorched state, with overtly reptilian features including green reptile skin with ample creases and ridges and no nose (solely nostrils). His cold, blue eyes and scowling mouth depict the usual discontent of an Espheni Overlord sent to dispatch with pesky humans like Tom Mason. The Scorch Animatronic Head is made of latex with hard plastic interior and has been mounted on a metal pole attached to a wooden base. Approx. 35" x 15" x 27".
