Falling Skies Alien Volm Tablet Movie Props
Seasons 4 & 5 - Although Cochise (Doug Jones) uses this multi-purpose Volm electronic Communicator Tablet throughout "Falling Skies" to monitor Espheni activity, its biggest contributions turn the war in favor of the humans. In Season 4, Episode 9 (40:05 minutes) - Cochise uses his Volm Tablet to analyze the Espheni 'Scout Whistle' frequencies. As the 2nd Mass watches, he dramatically unearths the crashed Espheni Beamer Airship that Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) and Lexi (Scarlett Byrne) can now use to destroy the Espheni's moon-based electricity generating plant which powers Espheni operations on earth. Season 4, Episode 12 (24:06 minutes) - Cochise desperately signals his father's ship, delivering logistics that allow a fleet of Volm airships to save Tom Mason from a fatal attack by the Esphenis just outside the moon's orbit. In Season 5, Episode 1 (23:22 minutes) - While in the field to scout for any remaining Mechs or Skitters, Colonel Dan Weaver (Will Patton) scans the Communicator Tablet's readout to find that Tom's 2nd Mass splinter group is trapped. Looking at the Tablet, Cochise comments "Tom Mason must be in trouble." True to his dry-wit core, Colonel Weaver cracks, "I'm so glad we took you along" and immediately deploys his group to Tom's side. Surrounded by attacking Skitters, Tom thinks all is lost, when Colonel Weaver's group arrives just in time to rain bullets on the Skitters and blow them to kingdom come with Tom's undetonated bombs. The Volm Communicator Tablet is made of black, hard plastic and has an internal LED dimmer. Includes remote control, with an antenna and a dimmer to control brightness. Power supply cord and batteries are also included. Functionality of the Communications Tablet is unknown (needs technical assembly). Approx. 11" x 9" x 2.5".
