Barrel left shoulder marked with a series of Belgian proofs and . 22L
Receiver left side and bolt marked with a series of Belgian proofs.
No serial number is found on receiver but there is 125576 stamped underside of barrel..

Barrel Length: 22 inch

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed into the front of the barrel.
The rear sight is a screw-adjusted u-notch tang sight that is dovetailed into the rear
of the barrel complete with ramp..
Also has a Bisley branded 4 power scope mounted - Scope is clear and has heavy
line cross hair reticle

Stock Configuration and Condition: Two-piece walnut with grooved forend,
semi-pistol grip, straight comb, and a sheet steel buttplate. Some minor dark marks
plus a small hole in undersid eof stock.
The LOP measures 13 1/4 in from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate.
The buttplate is slightly proud to the frame and original.
Overall, the stocks rate in Fine condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with well-defined rifling. There is no
erosion, but there is minor stubborn fouling throughout.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 47% of its metal finish - may have been reblued in places.
Handling wear is evident on many surfaces. Both barrel and the receiver have only
scattered minor scuffs. The action and magazine tube have operational wear.
Stock shows lots of use marks as shown oin the pictures.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The magazine tube moves with the slide
as it is opened and closed. .

FN and Remington both produced pump action gallery type rifles based on John
Brownings patent. FN produced its .22 Pump-Action Repeater in Europe between
1922 and 1974 - This one we believe is manufactured sometime between 1923 and
1924.
The rifle is in Fine condition considering its age.
