We are thrilled to be able to offer a museum piece from a private collection. This is a 56 zlotny red gold cigarette case made by Maria Semenova, who according to Snowman, regularly provided items to Faberge.
To the front is the applied enameled badge of the Preobrajinsky life guards. This badge is made of silver and enamel. There are a few minor chips to the enamel of the badge.

The opening of the case is oprovided by a large sapphire.

The Preobrajinsky Regiment was one of the premier regiments of the Imperial Russian Army and was founded by Tsar Peter the Great in the early 18th century.

This piece is incredible and is not commonly found.
