cover
depicting the Orange Tree Egg of 1911, one
of
about a dozen Faberge Imperial Eggs formerly
in the
Forbes
Collection. This selection was exhibited in
Hans
Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemiszas Lugano
retreat,
Villa Favorita. Its opening was marked by the
arrival of the Rosebud Egg, inflated as a hot
air
balloon and flown by Malcolm Forbes. (For the
actual egg, which measures just over 1 inch,
see
image 2)-11 x 8 1/8 in. (27.9 x 20.6 cm). Edge
of
pages slightly faded, otherwise book is in
good
condition. A good reference guide for the
collector, dealer, aficionado or those curious
to
