FRANZ LEHAR: (1870 - 1948) Hungarian composer and conductor who wrote operas and marches, most notably The Merry Widow. Lovely three-measure A.M.Q.S. with lyrics, 1p. 4to., Zurich, July 15, 1946, signed at the left margin of a fine photograph, 7" x 9" b/w, showing the composer in a head and shoulders pose. At lower blank margin, Lehar has inscribed the piece to "Herr St. Dante Ciocci..." and signed and dated below. Slight skipping to ink, else in very good condition, and a most attractive item for display. $200-300
