Veiled bust of Louise Davout facing right towards POINTE DE PENMARCH lighthouse in distance, 1897 in upper left corner, LOUISE DAVOUT MARQUISE DE BLOCQUEVILLE at upper right, LES LARMES VERSEES PAR LA FATALITE DES GUERRES SERONT AINSI RACHETEES PAR LES VIES SAUVEES DE LA TEMPETE below plus EXT DU TEST in bottom right corner, engraver's name J.C.
