1) Army Air Force Folding Machete Survival Knife. Included in the B-4 emergency bail-out kit. 10" blade. 15 1/2" overall. Metal including blade is bright. Black plastic handle is secured w/ five steel rivets. Metal blade guard is not present. Blade is marked "CAMILLUS" on left side. CONDITION: blade has been lightly sharpened. Metal has been cleaned bright, but is returning to gray over extensive areas of fine shallow pitting. Grips have wear & numerous handling marks. 2) Knife-Like Machete. Markings on left side of the bright fullered blade include an Arm & Hammer logo (Not Soviet). Visible words include "HARTFORD / ACERO FINO / CALIDAD / NO824". Blade is 14". Machete is 19" overall. No crossguard is fitted. Horn grips secured by three steel rivets. Rawhide lanyard. Brown leather sheath. Dark brown leather sheath fitted w/ retaining strap & brass M-1910 belt hook. CONDITION: blade has been sharpened & shows cleaning, returning to gray w/ peppery oxidation. Grips have wear & staining. Scabbard has wear, flexing & is pierced at the tip. Stitching as well as rivets are generally tight. 3) Woodman's Pal. 11 7/8" blade. 16 5/8" overall. Blade is marked on right side "WOODMAN'S PAL / LC-14-B / TRADEMARK-PAT#2335497 / V TOOL CO.,-READING PA". "D" handle. Stacked leather washer grip. Stamped blued sheet metal fitted scabbard w/ original leather retaining strap. Scabbard is unmarked. CONDITION: cutting edges have been lightly sharpened & have lightly nicked edges. Balance of metal has turned overall gray & patina w/ spots of light oxidation throughout. Leather handle is worn w/ handling marks & flecks of white paint. Metal scabbard retains 40% of its original blue w/ oxidation & fine pitting throughout. 4) Machete w/ 17 3/4" blade. 23" overall. Blade marked on left ricasso "TRUE TEMPER / U.S.-1945-". Green plastic grips w/ finger rest. Green canvas sheath. "U.S." is visible, balance of markings are faint. Sheath appears to be WWII period. CONDITION: blade has been sharpened, turning gray & patina w/ wear. OD green handles have wear & handling marks throughout. Notable missing chip at rear of right grip & notable abrasion at rear of right grip. Sheath has wear, staining & small scattered tears. (02-24537-8/RW). NON-GUN. $500-700.
