Supposedly impregnable Belgian fortress manned by 1200 Belgian soldiers during World War II. In 1940, it was captured by approximately 78 glider-borne German troops in just a few hours. S.P. 7" x 5" shows Hitler posing with some of his officers after the capture of Fort Eben-Emael, signed in blue ink by RUDOLF WITZIG, WALTER KIESS, and EGON DELICA. Fine.
