FORCED LABOR CAMPS - POSTAL HISTORY
Good lot of three postal covers, two originating from forced labor camps within Poland. Included are two 1940-41 covers from the Directorate of Radon, a section of occupied Poland containing almost 300,000 Jews and responsible for their transport to the camps, addressed to the district director in Braunschweig, site of several concentration camps. Also included is a postal cover from a Wehrmacht medical officer stationed at a reserve hospital, the face of the envelope bearing a handstamp Wehrmacht cancel from Bialystok, scene of "Aktion Reinhard" camps and the Bialystok ghetto. Three pieces, very good.
