A great American folk art Masonic crook cane with wonderfully folksy carvings on shaft including a turtle, analligator, a fish and rattlesnake. The flat end of the crook has a carved book with Masonic compass. Carved from asingle piece of hardwood, with a total length of 35". Crack in crook following grain of wood, not effecting carving, wonderfully patinated original varnish finish, missing ferrule. (EST 200-400)
