An interesting American folk art carved cane with partial bark covering on knobby hardwood single piece shaft.The top 7" are carved with openwork caged wood spheres, lower portion has relief carved fish and fox with date of1936, and saw-tooth edges to bark, date, figures and other details have nice old original red paint with nice patinaand wear, total length 39.5" with brass make-do 1.5" ferrule.As expected some minor chips to bark and wear elsewhere, wonderful old hand worn patina.(EST 800-1000)
