Colombian 'Mauser' style military bolt action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield and manufactured by FN in Belgium. Imported by Springfield Sporters, Penn Run PA. It features a matte blued finish with an approximately 22.75 inch barrel, 'H' style barrel band, in-the-white bolt with straight handle, smooth curved trigger, three-position flag style safety, tangent rear sight graduated to 2000 meters, raised inverted 'V' front sight, cleaning rod under barrel, sling swivel on barrel band, sling swivel on the bottom of the buttstock, stripper clip slots cut into receiver, and a hinged magazine floorplate. The receiver ring is engraved with the Columbian crest. The hardwood furniture consists of a smooth semi-pistol grip buttstock with a ribbed steel buttplate, a smooth forend, and a smooth handguard that is held in the front with a barrel band. The blued finish has approximately 90% with scattered scratches, and very little edge wear. Stock is very good with few small dings and scratches. Bore is bright with strong rifling. The front sight post slides in its dovetail, and the rear sight's slider doesn't lock into its notches when slid. The entire Columbian crest is present, but engraving is not very sharp. Bolt has some pitting. This rifle may have been refinished.
