FN Model 1935 Pre-War Lithuanian Contract High-Power Semi-Automatic Pistol, #194, 9mm, 4-3/4'' barrel, blue finish, tangent sights, factory checkered walnut grips, with phosphate finished split-tail magazine; magazine safety is present. Cut for combination holster/shoulder stock. 2nd type rear sight calibrated to 500 meters. Standard Belgian commercial proof, right side triggerguard bow marked ''x''; top of frame with Lithuanian crest. This contract High-Power also features a fixed lanyard loop on the bottom of butt behind magazine well. Between 1937-1939, Lithuania received between 5000-7000 of this type pistol. Known serial numbers range between #72 to #6437. In June 1940, the Red Army occupied Lithuania. Later, on June 22, 1941, the Germans invaded Russia and Lithuania was quickly occupied by the German Army. It is very likely that many of these pistols were used by the Germans. Condition is very good to near fine, retaining approx. 85%-90% blue. Correct Lithuanian barrel with excellent bore. Grips show light to just moderate wear with only light flattening to checks.
