FN Model 1935 Pre-War Belgian Army Contract High-Power Semi-Automatic Pistol, #13066, 9mm, 4-3/4'' barrel, blue finish, tangent sights, factory checkered walnut grips, with phosphate finished split-tail magazine; magazine safety has been deactivated. Cut for combination holster/shoulder stock. First type rear sight calibrated to 500 meters. Standard Belgian commercial proofs, as well as circle-''H'' to left side of trigger, slide frame, and forward portion of frame near muzzle. Left triggerguard bow with ''A'' over ''ME'' in circular motif; crown-''PH'' just below slide release. Right triggerguard bow with ''K''. On May 23, 1935, FN delivered the first quantity order to the Belgian State Purchasing Authority for 1000 pistols, thus changing the model designation of the High-Power to the Model 1935. Condition is excellent retaining approx 98% correct factory blue. Correct red-backed grips show minor flattening. Action is crisp, bore is excellent. Est.: $1,800-$2,400.
