FN Model 1935 Pre-War Estonian Military Contract High-Power Semi-Automatic Pistol, #2674, 9mm, 4-3/4'' barrel, blue finish, tangent sights, factory checkered walnut grips, with phosphate finished split-tail magazine; magazine safety is in place. Cut for combination holster/shoulder stock. 2nd type rear sight calibrated to 500 meters. Standard Belgian commercial proofs, as well as ''E.V.'' markings to back grip strap just below web standing for ''Eesti Vabarik'' (Republic of Estonia). The Estonia contract was placed in 1937. The Russians occupied all of Estonia and acquired their weapons in 1940. The Germans then occupied Estonia until 1944 when the Russian drove them out and re-occupied the country. Many Estonia High-Powers were brought back from WWII having been acquired from the Germans by American troops. Condition is excellent retaining approx 96% correct factory blue.
