A group of nine items by Flying Tiger aces, in various formats (noted), includes: CHARLES H. OLDER, credited with 18 "kills" and 5 probables, later the presiding judge in the mass murder trial of Charles Manson! A.L.S. 1p. 4to., Feb. 19, 1971, on Supreme Court letterhead, in part: "...I was with the 23rd Fighter Group of the 14th Air Force. The 23rd Fighter Group came to China to replace the A.V.G. after it was disbanded in July, 1942. It would be difficult to single out my most interesting experience as a pilot, but...if I had to select one, it would be our first combat encounter with the Japanese over Rangoon..."; ROBERT "SNUFFY" SMITH, business card bearing Flying Tigers logo designed by Walt Disney, signed, with holograph transmittal envelope, also signed; JOSEPH ROSBERT, a card identifying him as the author of a book, with A.N.S. on verso, with a second signed card; ROBERT W. MCCLURG, T.N.S. with content about the Black Sheep squadron, typed and signed on an index card; BOB NEALE, A.L.S. 1979 regarding Rangoon with a card reading: "Pappy Boyington's Wingman"; and WILTZ P. SEGURA, signature on a page with his printed biography. Nine items, very good condition.
