REVOLVER. Cal. 22 LR. S# 645520. Bbl. 6". Patridge front sight with stainless bead. Adjustable square notch rear sight. Matching numbers on grip frame, bbl., cyl. & extractor. First Model K22 Outdoorsman revolver. Blued finish with case colored trigger & hammer. Replacement white colored grips with small gold S&W medallions. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory letter that states the gun shipped with walnut grips but otherwise confirms its configuration. The revolver was part of a solo shipment to the Texas City Police Department in January, 1934. Also included is a copy of the shipping invoice. CONDITION: grips show some light handling wear. Trigger & hammer retain strong amounts of their case colors with scattered operational wear & light oxidation. Balance of metal retains 90% factory quality reblue with some cleaned oxidation under grips, some scattered edge wear, light scratches & some light minor oxidation.
