FINE PICTORIAL SAMPLER. Signed "Emma Bayles, Aged 10 Years, 1833". Meandering floral border with a pastoral scene along the bottom including a red house, sheep, a church, flying birds, and butterfly. Verse is titled "On heaven" and is surrounded by an eagle, song birds, and pots of flowers. Professionally cleaned and conserved with good color. Period frame is 26 3/4" x 22 3/4".
