A very nice 54 caliber muzzle loading gun cane. This cane has a tapered round 29" barrel with original brass &steel 2" ferrule/barrel plug that conceals the original 28" long oak and brass ram-rod with unloading screw on otherend. The L shaped handle is mounted to the steel frame of the cane with steel back strap. Inset button on handlereleases frame from barrel. Button type trigger, just below handle on shaft/frame. Brass bead foresight. Totallength 35.25".Minor surface rust, trigger release nonfunctional (reason not known).(EST 600-800)
