Lockplates retain 50-60% original casehardening color, strongest on left which shows some cleaning on edges. Stocks retain most of their original finish, with a large number of marks and scratches. Finish is worn through at grip and on forend from prolonged hand wear, checkering is worn almost smooth at grip and shows considerable wear on forend, but does not appear to have been recut. Sharp edges of stock are somewhat rounded. Forend is missing slivers of wood at left bbl. channel. Otherwise, stocks appear sound.
