Lee in regular U.S. uniform; Fitzhugh Lee; Stonewall Jackson (early portrait w/out beard); "Baldy" Ewell; A.S. Johnston; J.E. Johnston; Longstreet; J.H. Morgan; Braxton Bragg; P.T. Beauregard; rare image of L.O. Branch, KIA at Sharpsburg; Raphale Semmes of the Alabama; Sterling Price. Hardee; A.P. Hill, F. Zollicoffer; J.E.B. Stuart; K. Smith; Captain Maffett of the raider Florida. Following CSA generals in Civilian attire: Earl Van Dorn; M.L. Bonham; R.M. Hunter; R. W. Hanson; L.T. Wigfall; R.S. Toombs; J.B. Floyd; J.B. Breckinridge and two additional unidentified cartes. Diplomats include: Slidell, Toombs and Benjamin. A total of 20 by Anthony; 8 with bms of Klauber or Elrod of Louisville, but copies; one Gutekunst; 5 anonymous. A number heavily retouched. A nice grouping! Most about very good, three with surface loss of images (all Genls in civilian dress); a couple faded.
