FINE COLLECTION OF MCCLELLAN CAMPAIGN COVERS. Lot of 8 unused patriotic covers depicting General George B. McClellan. The Democratic candidate for President against Abraham Lincoln in 1864, 'Lil Mac, Commander of the Army of the Potomac, was made General-in-Chief following Winfield Scott. He was superceded by General Burnside in November 1862. Usual age, some mounting remnants on verso of several, three multicolored, the balance monochrome. Overall a nice group.
