A very nicely carved full figure lion in Walrus ivory with glass eyes. Handle is 2 piece with lion resting on grasscovered ground atop a turned ivory column with gadrooned band at top. Handle is 6" high. Married to a grainedfinished hardwood shaft with 1.25" nickel & steel ferrule. Total length 40"Collar replaced, finish worn, ivory fine, one glass eye missing.(EST 200-400)
