The cast white metal L-like handle on this cane is cast to look like an old shoe, with a hole in the bottom, the heelworn out and a big toe protruding from the leather. The sole has "'Tis a Feat / To Fit Feet / 1204 & 5 Market St."above the "hole" in the shoe. The "collar" where the briarwood shaft joins the handle is the scrunched top of a wornsock. There is an old, filled split nearly 3/4 of the length of the shaft, and a 1.5" nickel and steel ferrule on the end.Overall length is 32.5".Back of shoe made to look battered(EST 200-300)
