Tyler Durden's (Brad Pitt) photo-matched red leather jacket from David Fincher's drama Fight Club. Durden wore his signature jacket throughout the film, including when he first asked The Narrator (Edward Norton) to hit him as hard as he could, when he held Raymond K. Hessel (Joon B. Kim) hostage, and when he and The Narrator debated which celebrity each would fight.

This rust red leather slim-fitted, hip-length jacket, one of the most emblematic examples of Durden's bohemian, mishmash 1970s-inspired wardrobe, was one of several jackets used in the production of the film itself and was also used for marketing purposes. This jacket photo-matches to a promotional shot on the July 1999 cover of W Magazine; the magazine featured an article with Pitt in several film-used costumes. The jacket was custom-designed for the film and features a button-up front with four brown plastic buttons, two outside flap hip pockets, maroon lining on the interior, and contrasting cream-coloured double stitching throughout.

This lot is in excellent overall condition with signs of intentional distressing by production, including chipping on one of the buttons, staining on the left breast, a break in the stitching on the back, and some cracking on the leather of the sleeve collars. Included with the lot is a copy of the July 1999 edition of W Magazine.
