Autographed sentiment card, signed in ink by Franklin Delano Roosevelt's mother, Sara Delano Roosevelt, dated 24 February 1940. Original envelope with postmark included. Card is 5'' x 3'' and spotless, with no bends or marks. Sara was James Roosevelt's second wife, and about 20 years his junior. Many believe that Sara's unshakeable faith in FDR gave him the self-confidence to succeed later in life. Excellent memento. Very good condition.
